For years thermostats looked like the one pictured to the right and they did just fine turning your heat or AC on and off as needed.

Today, we want to talk about a 21st century thermostat with all the bells and whistles, the Honeywell Prestige 2.0 Comfort System.

While the Prestige 2.0 still provides the same basic functionality as the old-time thermostat, the Prestige has build-in technology to do just that smarter.

Among others there are 

  1. time and scheduling functions
  2. residential and commercial programming functions including error / failure alerts.
  3. optional sensors for indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity
  4. optional remote unit which allow for control in a room of choice other than the main unit
  5. and the optional Redlink® Internet Gateway allows to control and operate Prestige 2.0 remotely over the Internet using your smart phone or a PC.

  • Energy Savings - Program to save up to 33% on annual heating and cooling costs (If used as directed. Savings may vary depending on geographic region and usage)
  • Optional Outdoor Temperature/Humidity - When used with a Wireless Outdoor Sensor, the outdoor temperature and humidity can be displayed on Prestige to help you prepare for your day and save money
  • Optional Remote Portable Comfort Control Unit:
    Temperature Control on Demand - Sense and make adjustments from anywhere in the home
  • Optional Redlink® Internet Gateway: Control all available functions over the Internet using your Smart Phone (Android or iOS) or any Internet enabled PC.
